Riverside Park in Sunderland, MA is an 8-acre linear park along the banks of the Connecticut River. The universally accessible park features an accessible path and overlook on the Connecticut River, new playground, landscaping, site amenities, and storm water management system incorporating “green design” elements including bioretention swales and rain garden with interpretive signage. The project was designed with an abundance of public input and listening sessions. Berkshire Design’s services included master planning, design development, bid documents, permitting, bidding, and construction administration services.
