In 2020, the City of Pittsfield opened the newly renovated Clapp Park with a new universally accessible splash pad, basketball courts, restroom, and playground. Clapp Park is a well known park in Berkshire County showcasing one of the biggest sledding hills in the area, well-kept playground and athletic field, this park offers a lot to the community. From baseball, soccer and basketball games to picnics on the grass, Clapp Park is host a variety of outdoor activities and events in the Berkshires.

The design team worked with the City of Pittsfield Parks and Recreation Department to gather input from the community, explore the parks history, and develop a site that worked with the existing terrain and functions of the park.

Berkshire Design provided full design and permitting services including site survey, conceptual design through construction documentation, and construction administrative services during the installation.
