Jessica Schoendorf
Landscape Designer
Jess Schoendorf is captivated by the unique characteristics of each site and each project. Her approach seeks to support the wellbeing of local communities and their ecologies. A recent book which has inspired her thinking and approach to the land, is Braiding Sweetgrass, by Robin Wall Kimmerer. She has practiced as a landscape designer since 2016, where she has honed nuances and facets of the craft: design conceptualization, construction and construction feasibility, and long term impacts a design might have towards maintenance requirements. She has contributed to a range of projects from public parks and playgrounds in and around Boston, to dog parks and residential developments here in Western Massachusetts. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors biking, skiing, or hiking with her dog, Chloe.
